Biography for Kevin Waldrop

Kevin is an Organizational Consultant in the Center for Organizational Excellence (COE) at the University of California San Diego. The COE operates out of the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and partners with Divisional Deans and Assistant Deans to remove barriers to their success. The COE team leverages Lean Six Sigma expertise to foster effective financial stewardship and drive continuous improvement in support of the academic mission of the UC San Diego.

Kevin has a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, is an experienced project manager and trained in Prosci Change Management. He received a 2019 California Higher Education Collaborative (CHEC) 'Focus on Efficiency' award as part of a 3-person team for their work in process improvement. He is a long-time volunteer Assessor/Staff for the UC Management Skills and Assessment Program and contributes to planning and presenting staff development opportunities such as the Project Management Practical Training program. Kevin is Chair-Elect for the Business Excellence Community of Practice (BECOP) at UC San Diego which supports and collaborates in process improvement, change management and project management.
